I have enormous curiosity about other people and relish hearing about lives and opinions of people from all over the world. I am an avid reader and collector of books, mainly about travelers of the 18th and 19th centuries.

I'm a woman with a keen interest in a wide range of topics including women's issues animal rights issues humanitarian issues and political movements, such as the events currently sweeping the Middle East. I just wanted to spread the word about this, that so many people follow Princess Sultana and love her for the strong spirit that she is… For now, have a wonderful day! Jean I’d also like to tell readers that next year will bring a lot more information about Princess Sultana, her life, her children, her grandchildren, and important issues about women’s lives all over the world, for the princess does not limit her concerns to Saudi Arabia, although she mainly works in the Arab world. She has two grandchildren from her son, and one grandchild on the way from one of her daughters.

I’d like to report that she is doing great. I still get hundreds of letters weekly about Princess Sultana from people who want to know about her life and how she is doing. Even as I have remained involved in Saudi Arabia, there are others involved in other countries, including the USA where there are many problems that need solutions. Yes, there were issues that distressed me, mainly issues about women and abused animals, but all countries have their dark side and all we can do is to work to bring change. However, I was lucky enough to live there for 12 years and enjoyed “nearly” every minute of my time in that country. Very few people have ever even visited Saudi Arabia, so in reality, few know the truth of life in Saudi Arabia. But with so large numbers of Saudi women becoming educated and starting to work, it won’t be long before Saudi women can celebrate many victories.

I will say that there is improvement in many ways, but still much to accomplish. Her story is timeless for there are still challenges for women in the world and indeed, in Saudi Arabia, the country of Sultana’s birth and where she lives as a princess. I always knew that she was unique, someone brave and forceful and willing to take chances to reveal the truth about the lives of women in Saudi Arabia. After 19 years of first hearing about this brave woman, she has true friends and fans all over the world, from Europe to the Middle East to Africa to Asia to the USA. If you will click on the link above, you will see that PRINCESS is the #1 book on Saudi Arabia. It wonderful that the world so loves Princess Sultana and is inspired by her bravery.
